Re-opened in Feb 2015 following extensive refurbishment. Mainly caters for diners, but there is a drinking area to the right, around the bar. The area to the left is exclusively for diners. Hotel accommodation is available next to the pub at the Premier Inn. There is a large car park and outside seating area. A couple of one-armed bandit machines are in the bar area. There is an extensive food menu. Originally a Tennants Brewery pub, later acquired by Whitbread, it became a Beefeater in 1974. Recently reopened following a short period of closure.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
