Built by Everard's Brewery in about 1957 to serve the large housing development based around Downing Drive. Refurbished early 2016. The entrance leads into a bar-lounge area on the left-hand side. At the rear is a large conservatory-style extension used mainly as a dining area. Outside is a large lawned garden with picnic tables. Tiger and Old Original are the regular beers, but note that the keg version of Tiger is also sold. Buses 22, 22A, 22E to the city centre stop just across the road.
