Brewery.
The Dog Falls Brewing Company was registered in late 2018 but Robert (Bob) Masson did not brew his first batch at scale until 27th November 2019.
DFBC is a 3bbl brewery with 3 x Unitank fermentation vessels, sustainably brewing ‘Fresh, Bold & Distinctive’ Beer in Scaniport, just outside Inverness.
Committed to brewing without unnecessary chemicals, processing aids, finings or filtration, both to ensure that flavour is always paramount and to keep the product as natural & simple as possible.
The ultimate goal with Dog Falls is to produce world class, local beer and we were over the moon to take a step in that direction by winning a SIBA national gold medal in the Session IPA (keg) category in Liverpool back in March for our hazy session pale Colloidoscope (4.3%)
Currently production is to tins and minikeg, but the intention is to offer the beers in "real ale" format.
During the Covid period the current offerings are is as follows:
Free local delivery for orders over 8 cans (currently within a 15 mile radius of Inverness)
Free DFBC Rastal Craft Master 1 glass with all local orders over £40.
Town deliveries on Thursdays & Fridays, local deliveries outwith Inverness on Fridays only
Order before 12.00 on the delivery days for same day delivery
Express24 courier delivery across the UK, £5 for up to 24 cans
I’m not sure our beers fully comply with the current CAMRA stipulations for ‘real’ ale in all cases but I’m reasonably sure they fit with the spirit of the original intention of the organisation.
