"A charming countryside, family-run pub, known for hosting special events like weddings, resulting in limited opening hours that may vary from those stated. Set within five acres of picturesque parkland and woods, visitors can relax with a pint on the sun-soaked, south-facing terrace. The pub features a stylish restaurant and a cosy lounge, offering comfort and character. Two cask ales are regularly on tap, often showcasing local brews, including Banks's Sunbeam, branded as Dodford Pale Ale. During warmer months, the outdoor patio provides stunning views. Ramblers are warmly welcomed, and the nearby National Trust-owned Chartist cottage, 'Rosedene,' adds a touch of local history to the visit."
