A short walk out of town to High Harrogate is this old pub, formerly the Devonshire Arms, then 10 Devonshire Place, and in its current guise since 2019. It retains its original semi-circular counter with stained glass canopy, wood flooring throughout and a mix of wooden benches, tables and chairs. There is seating at the front and down both sides of the pub through to the back making for lots of separate drinking areas. Four handpumps each side of the bar dispense largely changing beers from mostly Yorkshire breweries. There are 12 keg lines, a beer fridge and boxed ciders from Lilley’s. Food offering is pizzas, including gluten-free and vegan options.
