This pub was originally a row of cottages which around twenty-five years ago was converted to a public house by John Carrick..
There is one large long bar plus a split level dining area and a function room upstairs. Following a refurb in 2018, the interior has been enlarged and is "a bright homely place". The entrance and toilet facilities have also seen major renovation.
Five real ales are served by gravity from the the cellar; an extensive food menu is available both lunchtimes and evenings. There is also a large garden with fully enclosed children's play area and car park.
