Lively, community free house with a single, large, L-shaped bar, now offering a wider range of cask beers. Traditional pub meals are served with a roast on Sunday. Locally sourced ingredients are used whenever possible. Fish and chips are available to take away. There is an occasional quiz on Sunday evening.
