This Pub is Closed Long Term

Cosy, street corner pub, handy for the transport interchange, has up to three real ales. Two bar areas, one with jukebox and TV showing sport, plus comfortable seating. Pub of the Year 2015, and 2017.

Reopened under new management from the 6th June 2022, following the pub closure during covid. The pub then closed again October 2022.

Pub was sold by Stonegate to an unknown buyer 12/07/2023 Since then work has taken place on the building.

May 2024 a planning application has been made to convert to a micropub, takeaway & a retail unit. This was granted 18th July 2024.

As of March 2025 the building is being worked on but is currently an empty shell.
