This Pub is Permanently Closed

The licence was refused on this Eley's Stafford Brewery pub in 1913 and it closed at the end of the year, the brewery then surrendering the lease to Stafford Corporation. It was demolished in 1977 when the Queensway ring road was built and its site id approximately on the pedestrian crossing from the south side of South Walls across Queensway.
