Popular, cosy, one-bar corner local dating from 1797, in the heart of an attractive riverside village. The unusual décor includes murals depicting local scenes, two large decorative candelabra, a suit of armour and a life-size elderly model waiter. Ten handpumps but only four regularly in use.
