Attractive Victorian locals pub, adorned with hanging baskets in summer. The large, open-plan interior, broadly L-shaped, has linked public bar across the front of the pub, a small lounge behind, plus a large restaurant area, incorporating two conservatories, beyond.
In addition to the beer garden to the rear, there are a few picnic tables at the front, but drinkers must vacate these by 9.30pm.

Historic Interest
Earliest record is 1874. It may have been a coaching inn, and there was reputedly a toll gate nearby.
