Former commercial inn & posting house A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 29 May in 1811 states that : Bull Inn, Newmarket, Auction Sale...(Property description)...The above premises being so extensive, the Proprietor purposes dividing them into lots, unless an eligible offer be made...The Inn has lately undergone a thorough repair, & there being a communication from the yard to the Corn Market, makes it capable of being one of the best market houses in Town...it may be viewed by applying to Mr GRANGER, the Proprietor.
