Presumed under new management after short closure in November 2025. Found open 16th January 2026 with Taylor's Landlord and 3 Wensleydale beers (Black Dub, Semerwater and Gamekeeper) on the bar. Awaiting a full survey. Opening hours shown are the winter hours. Food hours may not be accurate - phone before travelling.

Situated on the Dales Way National Trail, this Georgian coaching inn sits below Buckden Pike among the stunning scenery of Upper Wharfedale. The bar area is decorated in a modern style, and has been opened out to form one continuous room, sub-divided into several distinct areas. The outside seating area offers a pleasant view of the valley. The weekday Upper Wharfedale Venturer community bus and the Sunday 874 pick up in the National Park car park at the top of the village. The summer Sunday 875 service picks up on the green outside.
