Although Brockie’s Lodge Hotel did not serve real ale it was included so as to include all the licensed premises in the Highlands & Western Isles Branch Area. Brockie’s Lodge was a popular food-oriented hotel in a rural setting just outside the village of Kiltarlity, close to the home of Lovat Shinty Club which the hotel sponsored. The annual Tartan Heart Festival takes place on the nearby Belladrum Estate every August.
