A central bar divides this traditional two roomed pub with a beer garden backing onto the river Derwent. Quirky decorations include bank notes and antique fire fighting equipment. Walkers and dogs welcome. Three cask ales offered, with a regular house beer Bridge Best Bitter, and two changing cask ales, usually from a locally brewery, including Abbeydale, Bradfield, Stancill, Dancing Duck, Derby Brewing, Shipstone's, and Thornbridge.
