Cosy and friendly 16th-century coaching inn in a superb location by the River Usk, refurbished and reopened under new ownership at the end of 2024 following a lengthy closure due to flooding. The beer garden by the river is a wonderful spot for catching the sun on long summer evenings.
Historic Interest
17th century or early 18 century origins, perhaps around the same time as the bridge was built. Includes 19th century former toll house at the west end. Grade II listed. Historic Wales reference 7180.
