Opened on 30/11/2015 as 'Brewhouse & Kitchen'. Once a two bar pub with a snug built 1955 in roadhouse style to replace the bombed 'Highfield', it has been opened up with a large doorway connecting the two main bars.
The right side has the gleaming copper brewing kit on display. To the left is the main bar with a mixture of seating and behind that a restaurant area. Access to the garden is to the far left. The pub offers 'Brewing Experience' days, where you can learn the arts & science of brewing. Brewing commenced on-site May 2016. All real ales are from the on-site brewery.
The venue serves food 7 Days, including a Sunday Roast, a mixture of bar, table service and online app ordering. There are various weekly deals, including a 'hoppy hour' and a 10% OFF cask beer for CAMRA members, these run alongside food deals.
Brewers are often available to chat over the bar, including a regular Thursday evening where they are asked to serve guests and explain the brewery process. Bookable tasting and experience days are also available.
