the pub has been completely refurbished. The restaurant is open for breakfasst from 9.30am, lunch and evening meals. There are five handpulls that include local cask ales.
Historic Interest
The outdoor terrace at the rear of the pub was the site of a former brewery from which the pub gets its name. In the yard is a ramp down which barrels of beer once rolled to the canalside for transfer to tub-boats. The inn dates back to mid-19th century with parts possibly as old as 1750.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
