The original, modest, two-storey building shyly looks out from above the surrounding single-storey extensions. The Bold Forester is now a large pub with dining room, function room, and an outside children's play area with climbing frame and swings. The menu includes a Sunday carvery. The pub is two miles from the New Forest Wildlife Park, and a further mile from Longdown Activity Farm.
