Mapperley Top's first micropub, opened in September 2018. As the name suggests, music is showcased alongside the beer range, with music at weekends and often a blues jam on Sundays. Similarly, all dogs are welcome, well behaved humans are tolerated. Beartown beers, in conjunction with Bear, the house dog, regularly feature. The small bar holds four handpumps featuring local breweries. Unusual circular tables from large cable drums with inbuilt footrests, wooden benches and varied chairs, including high and low stools provide the seating. Guitars adorn the walls with a "bottle clock" dominant on one. Small roadside outdoor seating area is often extended in the summer.
