Large 18th century inn in centre of town which has been extensively renovated in 2020. The pub has also been expanded, with the previous fish and chip shop which was next door being converted into a lounge area. There are fabulous sea views to be had from inside the pub and in the outdoor balcony area. There will in due course be a second balcony on the first floor. The outside space has flaming gas heaters for those cold evenings but can be closed in rough weather. Proper Job and Tribute are regulars with two changing beers from the St Austell and Bath Ales ranges. There are nine bedrooms should you want to stay, some having a sea view. No vaping policy.
