Formerly Gedling Miners Welfare, this club now caters for all. Dance classes are held most evenings and entertainment every weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Regular weekend trips away are organised for members. Quiz nights held Sunday & Wednesday evenings. Meeting rooms available to hire; the Concert Room has a capacity of 300 with stage, lighting and dressing room facilities. Note - Main office is open Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8am-12pm.

The former Gedling Miners Welfare operated by the Mapperley Plains Social and Recreational Club Limited, a private company limited by guarantee without share capital (Reg. No. 02702898) incorporated on the 1st April 1992.
