Imposing roadside pub on the main A6, close to Darley Park. Originally home to a Darley Abbey mill manager, this tall, stuccoed house was granted an on licence in 1937. A single storey extension was added to house the public bar but this differentiation was removed in a 1980s reconfiguration. Smart, bistro-style interior. Popular for its meals and comfortable atmosphere.
