This Pub is Closed Long Term

The Bishop Blaize closed in 2007 following purchase by new owners in 2006. Subject to repeated planning applications and appeals to turn residential. Following the granting of ACV status in early 2016, the pub was restored and reopened in July 2016 as the Pheasant Pluckers Inn and latterly Blaze Inn Saddles. It closed in January 2020 and consent was granted on appeal in January 2026 for residential development.
