With new owners and following substantial structural repairs and a complete internal refurbishment, the Black Horse Inn reopened its doors after a 4-year closure on Wednesday 20th July 2022. The family run business has 3 en-suite letting rooms and sells Timothy Taylor beers plus other local beers. Close to Giggleswick School and next to the church, one of only two in the country dedicated to St. Alkelda, the pub has an architecturally interesting frontage, Gothic in style and fine stained glass windows. Inside, a central bar serves two cosy drinking areas and a separate dining area/restaurant. There is a large paved patio at the rear of the pub for outdoor drinking. There is an accessible toilet (with baby-changing facilities) but wheelchair access would be difficult due to sharp corners and the steps into the pub. The fourth handpump is sometimes used to serve a second changing beer (usually from LAMB) and sometimes used for Lilley's cider.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
