This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
The club was founded soon after the end of the Second World War in two ex-RAF felted timber huts. Founder members made do with a rudimentary brick bar and sat on beer crates. Nowadays the club is far plusher and consists of a large well-decorated lounge with plenty of seating for drinkers and diners alike, plus ample room for two pool tables, adjacent to which are three cabinets, two for the many trophies and one containing no less than fifteen tourist signed cricket bats. There is also a small cosy lounge bar towards the front of the club and a games room with table skittles and darts towards the rear. Cobs and simple snacks are available. Local radio musak is played. Non-members are admitted but asked to pay a small fee.
This Club serves 1 changing beer (Usually a well-known brand) and 2 regular beers.
