Canalside and local pub. Accredited for beer quality 2024
Canal-side pub serving two ales, 10 minutes walk along the towpath from the town and near to the old railway country path.
A central bar serves a snug, and the main lounge has three distinct areas. The room facing the bar was originally stables. In summer it's pleasant to walk or cycle there and to have a well-deserved pint sitting by the canal.
Basket meals are available every day and filled cobs during the afternoon.
Cycles can be secured to the canal-side fence.
Ramped access is from the car park and also a mobile ramp, by request, into the main lounge bar. Stepped access to WCs (not adapted).
