This Pub is Permanently Closed

This is a food-led 'Hungry Horse' pub, part of the Greene King pub estate. Whilst a selection of Greene King ales was hoped for, when surveyed only IPA was available - there were two unused handpumps. There is a public bar, featuring sports TV, pool and darts, and a separate Restaurant area - although drinkers are welcome to sit in there provided there is not a demand for more tables for diners. Disabled access is advertised by the pub. Although this was not tested in more detail, it appears that the back entrance to the Restaurant area, and the disabled WC off that area are indeed suitable for disabled access. The Restaurant is 'family friendly', with high chairs and so on for youngsters. The Big Cheese hosts regular karaoke nights and quiz nights.
