Friendly single-bar locals pub, built in 1890. This imposing Stroud Brewery tiled frontage includes a gilded Berkeley family crest. It fields quiz and darts teams, live music on most Fridays and hosts a beer festival in early May Bank holiday. For the fit the pub is one mile from Cam station. Closed Monday lunchtime.
