Re opened 3/9/2021.
A roadside pub on a busy main street with a small snug and a larger bar with a woodburning stove. Behind is a nicely furnished conservatory with a side entrance leading to the smoking area. The bar areas have benefitted recently from a refurbishment. Regular live music accompanies the excellent beers on offer.
Close to the main town bus stop on Old Smithfield.
Historic Interest
At one time the Bell & Talbot was also a wet fish shop Bought by Ansells Brewery of Aston, Birmingham in the 1920's, the Bell & Talbot was operated between 1983-88 by the Little Pub Company (a marketing arm of the brewery) It was then sold as a free house which it remains as today.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 3 regular beers.
