This Pub is Closed Long Term

A near town centre pub and eating house dating from around the 18th-century standing on Beacon Hill on its approach to the Beacon, that has gone through many changes of management over the years. Two cask ales are usually available, and good-value home-cooked food is served lunchtimes and evenings, including a Sunday lunch carvery.
