A genuinely old (17th century) inn which has had countless makeovers since being opened out into a single room. The present incarnation, with exposed timbers (mostly fake), wood panelling (some original) and open brickwork is one of the more attractive recent guises. Guest beers tend mostly to be non-Greene King, sometimes from local Milton brewery. Weston's Old Rosie cider is also available. Food served every day until 10pm (8 on Sunday) and is the standard GK managed house menu, though good value for the city centre.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
