This Pub is Permanently Closed

From planning records the premises was Barnies Bar/Bistro in the 1990s, became the Bus Stop pub and in 2007 planning was granted for works, including moving the main entrance into Lower Church Street and this was presumably when it became the Fountain. Google Street view shows it as the Fountain in June 2009. It is believed to have been renamed Barnstaple Inn before closing mid 2011 and becoming a shop (no planning records for this). Planning granted to convert from shop to children's nursery 13/11/2013.
