This Pub is Permanently Closed

In 1841 William Redhead was landlord , 1862 he built a brewery at the side of the Barley Mow. Redheads Brewery was taken over by Mowbrays Brewery on 25 March 1889. The Barley Mow finished as Whitbread pub. Closed in 2000 and Demolished in 2004 along with the buildings that used to be Redheads Brewery. Retail unit built on the site, now Topps Tiles.
