This Pub is Permanently Closed

COVID-19 update (16th July) - bar is likely to remain closed until social distancing is no longer required. Factors such as the Market Hall having just one entrance open, only the disabled toilet being available, and the hall closing at 4pm (inc. Saturdays) has led to the closure of the Ashton Tap House for the foreseeable future. Ashton's historic outdoor market is one of the largest in the North West of England but go in the market hall and you will find the smallest of bars around. Four tables are crammed into a stall making it a cosy place to enjoy a pint while watching the market going about its business. No food is served but you are welcome to purchase pies, etc from the nearby stalls and consume these while enjoying your beer.
