This Pub is Closed Long Term

Unfortunately Artichoke ceased trading on 10/05/2023. An announcement on their website read:-

"Due to the ongoing financial pressures we have sadly taken the decision to close Artichoke. Thank you for all your support over the years, we loved being a part of your lives and we will miss you greatly."

Old description below:-

Canalside bar and bistro on the ground floor of the Steam Mill. The rear space is given over to dining while the front bar area features bare brick and wood floors. Four changing beers from smaller breweries, both local and further afield, together with a range of keg beers. Pizza deals on Mondays and roast dinners on Sundays. Families are welcome to 7 pm. Note the generous CAMRA discount Tue-Thu. Outside seating with small tables alongside the canal. Small shop offers beer and food takeaways.
