Friendly, corner, neighbourhood pub; and a core part of the local bagatelle and darts leagues, note the superb bagatelle table by the corner door. This Victorian building has three distinct areas, including a snug which is well away from the bar, and which doesn't have the background music found in the bar area. TVs throughout, but not generally in use (mostly for sports events). This is a Punch Tavern with two real ales, recently taken over by a new management team.
