One of six pubs and clubs in Ackworth serving cask beer, the Angel has a thoughtful and well-designed open-plan layout centred around a large arched wooden bar. High quality home-made bar meals using local produce are served Monday to Saturday lunchtimes and evenings, plus a Sunday carvery 12-4pm. The adjacent Dando Way provides a good start and finish point for walking/cycling in the nearby country park and surrounding area. The Ackworth Road Runners set out from here on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
