The pub's name tells you that it began life as a road house for Beverleys Brewery of Wakefield. A food-led ex Marstons pub, then placed under management of the Wellington Pub Company and now branded as the twelfth Ego Medirerranean restaurant, the second opening by this Bolton-based chain to be located in pub premises. Has a new sister restaurant at the Bull's Head, Horbury.
