Originally the Five Bells, a nautical name referring to the traditional pub closing time of 2.30 in the afternoon. Renamed when taken over around the turn of the millennium by a small operator, who also run the former London Hospital Tavern in Whitechapel. Small, basic one-bar pub. January 2019-now a music club
