This Pub is Closed Long Term

The Blockyard Brew Co have converted this empty former Army recruitment office into a two roomed micropub. The pub name comes from one of their beers. There are three cask handpulls and at the time of opening in June 2023 were all from their own brewery. A large range of keg beers are also available. Some of the chairs are ex Frankie & Bennies while some are from the closed Jester pub in South Shields The picture window at the front looks out onto the end of Stockton Road with Park Lane Interchange visible at the end. Live music also features. There are plans for food to be available

The pub is inside the Bishopwearmouth Conservation Area
