Historic Interest

Dating back to at least 1850 when it was listed in Bagshaw's Directory. Originally located at 6 Holt Hill and shown at that location on old OS maps. It appears the pub was demolished to make way for the creation of Hinderton Road in the 1880/90s and a new pub was built a few yards away on the corner of the new Hinderton Road and Green Lane.
