Historic Interest

The original pub on this site dates back to 1757, shown on the Tithe map of 1843 and listed in Bagshaw's Directory of 1850. A Birkenhead Brewery pub transferred to Gatehouse & Son then West Cheshire Brewery. Demolished in 1931 and a new pub built.
