This Pub is Permanently Closed

Originally Applejacks wine bar in the 1980s, this pub operated under a number of names including Arthur's, and R4s. After a short period of closure it reopened as the Office in 1996 by which stage it had become more pub-like, having a small split level bar, the upper part of which had a pool table. It closed in the late 1990s and is now an Italian restaurant. Real ale was sold during most of its life.
