The Baynards Brewery was to be found in a back room of the Thurlow Arms in Baynards. It was set up by Julian Gibb in February 1996 using brewery equipment previously used at the Cyder House at Shackleford. These distinctive beers were brewed only for sale at the pub, and in batches of 130 gallons at a time. Unfortunately brewing stopped with Julian's untimely death in 2000. Two main beers were produced, Station Brew (4.2%) and Old Shunter (4.8%), with Tunnel Vision (6.0%) appearing for winter.
