This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Punchbowl was a Courage owned motel that was built using stone from Betchworth Castle. It comprised a drinkers' bar and a carvery, and when it closed in 1988 it was advertising itself, rather old-fashionedly, as a "motor hotel".
