An interesting and historic pub overlooking the city centre Market Place, with rooms on four or five different levels. The pub was originally named after Field Marshall Garnet Wolseley, a celebrated army officer who served in Burma and the Crimean War.
There are usually two or three changing beers, supplied by local breweries such as Lacon's Mr Winter's, Moon Gazer and Shortts, plus a selection of craft beers. No food is served, but you're welcome order Brick pizza from next door.
Originally one of over twenty pubs on the market, this sole survivor boasts some excellent views, with a permanent exhibition of photographs of historic Norwich from the George Plunkett collection.
