Walnut Tree Shades, Norwich

Old Post Office Court, Norwich, NR2 1NG (View on Google Map)
No website available

One of Norwich’s hidden gems dating back to the 1800s, The Walnut Tree Shades is a pub well known for its live music, juke box and traditional feel.

Set just off Gentleman’s Walk where all the hustle and bustle is, the 'Walnut' is a welcoming pub where you’ll step back in time into a pub that has a traditional feel. There's also the best in local rock, blues and rock'n'roll every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus comedy, a quiz or musical bingo on Wednesdays and Open Mic every Thursday. The pub also supports cribbage and has a pool table and a dart board.

Usually serving three or four local ales, with food served all week - a good selection of traditional fare, using locally sourced meat and vegetables where possible.
