Busy friendly pub/restaurant with traditional country cottage style decor. The bar serves both local and national ales. To the left of the bar is a snug area leading on to a large extension dedicated to eating. The lunch menu consists of sandwiches and simple pub fayre, with the evening menu (plus extensive specials board) offering a wide variety of locally produced free range food. Breakfast is also served at weekends. At the rear is a small garden with benches.
