16th century coaching inn with plenty of character, including exposed wooden beams throughout the building and ancient stone & wooden flooring.

The pub is split into the main bar area with varied traditional seating and a restaurant. Extra seating is available outside on a large patio area. Food is available throughout, consisting of varied modern pub fayre using local ingredients, with breakfast and lunchtime options.

Accommodation is provided upstairs consisting of eight luxury bedrooms. The pub car park is located on the other side of the main road, next to Bishops Waltham Palace Ruin; a code (from the bar) is required to open the exit barrier.
